Little Bear mini-excavator, Bearco Machinery Equipment

That is not in any way shape or form affiliated with Kubota and I don’t care what the salesman claims I would be shocked if that was made anywhere other than China. maybe assembled somewhere else but that’s very likely a Chinese machine. Not trying to be offensive just trying to be clear.

    CT 225 front wheel bearing

you need to figure out what’s leaking before you start digging into it. There are plenty of YouTube videos out there that show you exactly what you’re in for. The seals are specific from Bobcat. As for the bearings mine were very common they were available on Amazon.

    CT 225 front wheel bearing

When I drain the oil in the front axle I noticed a ton of metal shavings. Had to change the lower bearing also because all of the bearing pieces fell to the bottom and damaged the lower bearing. This is at about 700 hours. I use my loader to its full potential and run in four-wheel-drive almost...

Mini Ex Comparsion - Deere 17G vs Bobcat E20

I looked at the Takeuchi Machines. I checked out the 216, 225, and 230. The 216 just seemed too small for me and not enough reach with a big counterweight. The 225 was sweet and had retractable tracks but also had a fairly large counterweight. I priced out the 225 in December of last year for...

Mini Ex Comparsion - Deere 17G vs Bobcat E20

I researched and checked out both of these machines pretty heavily. The John Deere is made by Hitachi with I think a yanmar motor. not sure what country. The bobcat E 20 is made in Czech republic and uses a Kubota engine up until recently and now they’re Yanmar. The E 20 has a longer reach. Both...

Well for anybody that may come across this problem thought I’d update some things. A buddy came over the other day and we tore into it again found two more relays up high under the dash cover and some weird ground wires that went to the relay mounting studs. Cleaned off the studs with a wire...

Well the relays did nothing. Was using the tractor a bit the other day and the lights will start to work and then go back out again. difficult problem to find. A relative is suggesting a new ignition switch. Maybe I’ll try that.

Well the switch did not do the trick. Started studying the schematics more and digging deeper into the service manual. Bobcat E26 excavator needs some hydraulic oil

Tractor News Kioti tractors replaced by bobcat?

Yeah good point for sure. You’re pretty much limited to a breaker or an auger. Doubt you’d be able to run any kind of mower on this but honestly I don’t know. Also his price on attachments like tilt buckets and breakers are Close to half of what the namebrand stuff is.

    Bobcat CT225 Broken hydraulic line

Rim guard or not? Why a ballast box instead of boxblade?

I think everything has its purpose. Ballast boxes could be very handy in tight situation and for specialty uses like logging or plowing. Loader FL7 Loader on CT2025 Doesn’t Seem to Meet Spec

Loader FL7 Loader on CT2025 Doesn’t Seem to Meet Spec

As stated earlier the weight of the forks is definitely a consideration some forks are much heavier than others. Skid steer forks are typically around 400 pounds. Has anyone seen a backhoe like this before?

I built this when I was younger. It’s amazing what it would dig. But did not like to get around on the job site very fast either. Kinda crab clawed it’s way around. Was super handy and amazingly powerful for how small it was.
  84. tman1020

    Typical hydraulic leak down time?

I have a bobcat brand backhoe I believe it’s made by rhino for them. It has very low hours on it and it leaks down very quickly from day one. I can literally watch the arm sag if I extend it straight up and out. Not very happy about it or sure if it’s normal but I just assumed it is what it is.

  91. tman1020

Tracking mud into shop....what to do?

Best way I found is when your tires are packed full is to park your tractor outside of your shop in the grassy area where you won’t mind the dirt coming off. Wait till the next day or two when the mud is all dry and when you drive it will mostly all fall out. Works great.

Well I had a chance to finally take a look at the tractor. Weather has been terrible here until recently. Weather is much warmer pretty sure nothing is frozen can’t seem to get the tractor into any type of neutral. Seems like it’s stuck in some gear or something. Gear shifter is loose and feels...

Why not just build one the size you want out of plywood or something and pour it full of concrete. Then remove the plywood. Don’t get me wrong it’s a fantastic tractor and if I Buy another tractor it would be my first stop. I am yet to come across a tractor that I feel is better suited for me. Just recently went down to look at the new bobcat tractors at my local bobcat dealer about 45 minutes away. I knew more about the tractors than anybody in the store. Nor did they seem to have any desire to sell them. In fact the Manager told me that he would probably give the sale of the...

    Bucket Level Rod

One of two things happened. The rod guide is on upside down. Leaving The outer tube too high. Or someone cut the indicator Rod too short. I suspect the first option. See if it can be flipped over.

    Bucket Level Rod

Normally they are adjustable. you set them where you want to let you know when you have a level bucket. Yours may be set to high. If you have to go below flush to make it work you could always put some paint on the rod to give you an indicator of where is level.
