It's funny how we train our minds over the years, to "plan and invent". I learned on a drafting board, and even when we transitioned to CAD, I'd start with a sketch on graph paper or vellum.Mowing is when I think, plan & invent!![]()
But for roughly 30 years now, I've been doing everything in CAD, 2D into the early 1990's transitioning to 3D in the late 1990's, and then parametric 3D ever since ca.2000. Now, I basically "think" via CAD, it's the first place I turn when starting to form a new idea.
Of course they all work, it's just a matter of how you've trained your own brain to think through such problems.
