Good Morning
47°, clear and a forecast high in the upper 70’s. Made it past 80 yesterday. Grass is doing well, it likes the heat, the sun and all the water I’m giving it.
Yesterday we got all the remnants of construction activity out of here, all the trash, building materials etc. The next task was to get the manure bin emptied, it only took three trips with the dump trailer, it was dry enough to compact and fit a lot in each load. Next task was to deal with the wall plates that would not accept the dual banana plugs. I did find a plate that would work, but it came with its own cover as it didn’t fit in a standard Decora opening. Of course, that wouldn’t work for me, I needed it to be in one opening in a two gang plate. The other opening was a brush plate for the HDMI cable.
Another case of Bridgeport to the rescue.
Nice thing about plastic is that I just put the end mill in the chuck rather than swapping it for a collet.
The difference in the openings is not huge, but noticeable. At any rate, that task is behind me.
Today, I’ll take the dump trailer for a load of mulch to finish the beds created by the OFH. After that, I’ll continue putting tools and supplies away in the shop in an effort to locate some horizontal surfaces.
Also need to put all the slats in the plasma table and fill the pan so it’s ready to go. I need to add Borax to the water, I learned that if I keep the ph at 9 or so, it doesn’t rust.
I’ve got to get the sprinklers going, have a great day all!
