Congrats on belated Anniversary LS, and your GS!

I had to take my kid out for chicken tenders (his favorite) when he aced the Texas bench mark test last week. I still have to teach him common sense.
It is good to learn from your mistakes.

it is far less painful to learn from the mistakes of others.

But pain is a great teacher…

yes, something for farmers to grow, has natural strength, think hemp ropes

growing hemp, growing renewable pine trees.
I wonder what the final "carbon footprint" of those two options are
both are known for strength
Don’t forget that the Photosynthesis Cycle require thee things: Sunlight, Water, and Carbon Dioxide.

Decreasing CO2 starves plant life.

Paul, a cause for celebration for me whenever I get an ethernet cable to pass first time - a rare event.
I found that a good crimp tool and a straight-jaw nail clipper for final trim of the individual conductors worked best for me.

Decreasing CO2 starves plant life.

makes sense. Increasing it too much clearly isn't so wonderful either at least for us non plant life.

need to order some kites to take with me on next trip.
I love flying kites at the beach.

Pickup should be back today. Seems that, upon further review, it was not the factory negative battery cable that got chewed, but the main for the winch. New cable would have been almost $400 just for the part! It must be a heckuva cable… so they are going to repair that cable and we are going to save almost $500 off the estimate. YAY!!!!!

Fossil record shows that it was more than triple during some of the most prolific biosphere activity on this planet. And it was almost double during the height of the Roman Republic… must have been all those diesel war chariots…

Good Morning!

Hod has given us another chance to get it right (or at least not screw up too badly).

67F going to low 90s, sunny all day.

we got up to the woodlot reasonably early, when it was cool. Mrs took dog for walk, I cleared out and leveled a spot immediately behind the shed to build a lean-to shed off the back, then cleared out a load of brush and thorny grabby stuff to get to the opposite corner of the property. Luckily, I didn’t quite hit the 50 hours for initial service, as I didn’t have a metric Allen that sit the drive motor plugs… so I need to buy some more tools…

Anyone know what size Allen the drive motor drain plugs are for a Kibota KX033-4?

I am definitely getting better with the excavator, especially with jump turns. I reversed my way of thinking about them and it has made a huge difference: instead of deciding which tread has to go forward and moving the swing handle toward it, I now decide which way I need to swing the boom and activate the tread in forward closest to how the swing handle points. It sounds trivial but it works for me.

The rest of the day was porch time.

Made an appointment for spa guy to come out and look at leak on hot tub, so today is a general clean up on and around the screenporch. And whatever other house putterings can be squeezed in.

now to catch up on all the GM posts since yesterday that I am behind on…

I hope everyone has a happy healthy safe blessed day!
Takes an 8 mm Allen bit

Takes an 8 mm Allen bit
THANK YOU! Especially since most hex socket sets skip the 9mm unless you go for the high-dollar master set… so i figured that it would OF COURSE be the one that isn’t in the cheaper sets… 🤣😂🤣
