Only have one hook on my bucket and the hole was already there:

I reinforced the bucket top edge and installed hooks at ends and center.
I use the ends (corner) if I am lifting something of insignificant weight and lift from the center any heavy objects. When I lift from the center I do not twist my loader frame or tip my tractor.

MY center mount ring on bucket is for holding things in bucket... I put a dedicated pulling ring on front of tractor chassis to do serious pulling..... Only negative is access to ring with bucket in the way...

I have three hooks. always have always will. Hooks on the side for light work.
hook in the center for HEAVY work. It doesn't do the mechanism any good to reef the heck out of one side.... plus you can get your tractor airborne.
Welded on or bolted on, is the best. I see the guy with the grab hook attached to a hole with some hot link or shackle. I know it works, but it's a bit awkward. Buddyamine did that to a small tractor and it's kind of a pain in the butt compared to a fixed sold mount.

Simply made chain slots from 2x2x1/4 angle iron...

The advantage of chain slots is that you can run the chain either direction. down behind the bucket provides more lifting power.

I built slots into the frames:

Bend your bucket picking up in center. Corner is stronger.
When I ordered my Kioti I asked for THREE hooks on the bucket. They ended up putting only one (center), stated that they're not allowed to put them at the outer ends of buckets (force on one side of the loader or some other such). I finally got a welder and am waiting for the day I'll be proficient enough to tackle this. My B7800 has three hooks on the bucket and I've used them to tug like hell in all sorts of situations w/o ANY problems: the B7800 is just plain indestructible.

Get "bolt on" hooks.....

No biggie. Grind off the paint on the bucket, get a good ground spot, clamp or support your hook with magnetic positioners, 6011 welding rod and 130 amps....takes just a minute.

I have 3 hooks on my bucket.
1 on each end and 1 in the middle.
My middle hook is by far the most used (gets used often)

Does anyone know if Ken's Bolt on Hooks offers a discount through TBN or to TBN members?

Thanks.

I have 2 hooks welded on to the FEL, and 1 hook welded on to the BH, ... all done at the Dealership prior to delivery, when I bought new. Very useful.

Used tractor came with one middle hook. I wanted to add some inline with the loader arms. When I put the new hooks on some how I put the first one on backwards - Duh. I decided to put one on backwards on the other side too, rather than cut it off. Thought it couldn't hurt and might be useful. ?? Actually they have turned out to be quite useful. Not only for more lifting power but also for securing odd shaped objects, pulling low from under the bucket, or just to keep slack chain under control.
