Generic bucket edge tamers

I guess I'm dumb. When I push snow with my FEL I tilt the cutting edge up approx. 2", which makes the bottom of the bucket into a skid.

I surely could do the same, but find convenience in the EdgeTamers. My friends jokingly call them "***** slippers" and give me hell for using them; I laugh.

You could do that, but with a machine as small and light as my T224, the bucket will just ride right up over most of what you want to scoop up. You will also grind away the heel of your bucket, which are really cheaply and lightly built these days.

As an update to the thread, these skids worked fine all winter. They have about 12hrs of use on them from moving snow around this winter. They never loosened, shifted, broke or wore out. They look new yet aside for some rust on the screws.
