Still trying to pick a quick hitch

It appears that Pat痴 quick hitch is the best choice for me. After looking at the Harbor Freight quick hitch I think it will take too much modification to work on my snowblower and carryall. Pat痴 will work for my snowblower right out of the box. I am concerned that there is not enough clearance between the lower arm pin and the carryall box to connect Pat痴 properly. Does anyone know how much clearance is required? I have scoured the internet and cannot find this spec. If it is too tight can you simply carve out the box to create clearance? Anyone痴 thoughts are appreciated!

Having Pat's on the three point arms is mostly like connecting the pins of the implement into the three point arms directly. They just extend the arms a couple of inches longer. I did need to get a longer top link to compensate for the added length of the arms. The length will also reduce your specified lift capacity a bit.

I have the Pat's and agree with Roadworthy. I also needed to get a PTO extender. Very pleased with the Pat's and have been using it for a number of years with no issues.

As for a "Quick Hitch" (not Pats Easy Change) there is probable 25 to chose from, biggest issue is top hook is probable not extended enough to clear upper part of implement, you will need to get extended hook or adapter to fit implement....

There was a comparison of quick hitches that pointed out the Speeco hitch doesn't require bushings. If you have several attachents that could be a factor.

Or just buy the Agri-Supply version; it comes with the extended top hook.

I thought about getting a quick hitch for the Toolcat but the 3pt attachments are on dollies, so easy to position for hook up. And the counterweight stays on most of the time, so I decided I didn't need the quick hitch.
