Working in daughter and son in laws flower bed yesterday raking out old mulch I scooped up a copperhead. Luckily it was his tail end and his head was in the oleander. Raking by hand that is, not an actual rake. Forgot I could move that fast.

We had a couple overnight visitors. Toni has been storing feed for the goats and chickens in my unfinished shop, which is storing a whole lot of things. I never wanted any food items in my shop, for obvious reasons, like these two.
Cute little babies, I managed to usher them into a box and took them to the other side of the property where they have a chance. The dogs were good, they left them alone after being told to.

Shop doors are open during the day, but I had the air hose out one of them over night, it was raised about 4", I guess they crawled under. The smell of corn must have been strong enough.
