Yesterday I was crossing over a small trench in my yard. Driving the L3700 over a couple 2x8 so the trench would not collapse. One of the 2xs flipped up and caught the hydro filter under the right floor board. Ripped the filter right off along with breaking the housing threads right off inside the filter and bending the rear supply line to the point where that is junk as well. Stupid stupid stupid place for that filter set up...

Sorry to hear about your misfortune, yesterday.
I've noticed that those filters are somewhat exposed.
Hope you were due for a fluid replacement and the rest of the repairs go easy on your wallet.

Too bad about your accident. Sounds like it won't be cheap to repair.
I agree about the vulnerability of that filter and plumbing. It does seem like a bad design. At one point, I thought about making a simple skid plate that would bolt to the FEL sub frame to protect that fragile area. Its incidents like this that make me think a bit harder, especially since I'm now using a grapple.

Luckily the pipe TC220-33310 is $41, the fitting with threads for the filter TA040-33212 is $43 and the mounting bracket TC220-33230 is $8. Not real cheap but not like breaking something major. Use longer 2x8's another time?

Ordered the parts today at my local Kubota dealer. The new housing, o rings, rear supply tube and filter came to about $160.00... and probably another 150-170.00 for 6 gallons of SUDT fluid. ... could have been worse I guess.
