Oh no! It was purely a compliment. My detached building is wood framed and sided like the house. I hope it's still standing in 50 years but it sure won't age as nice as the front or yours.
Beautiful brick work. Reminds me of the old streetcar barn in Greensburg, Pa, circa 1930s. Long gone now.
Oh my! Its full and dirty already.
That's the problem I had with my barn when I insulated and finished the inside. I had to move everything I owned at least three times.
What a BEAUTIFUL structure!!! :thumbsup::thumbsup:
Looks to me like a old firehouse. I truly do like what ya done.

Thank you. I figure there will be a lot of time spent in there.
Thanks for the kind words. Now it will take some time, But electrical, landscaping etc still needs to be done. I am hoping to have more progress before winter.
Yep. Time and Money.
A building, regardless of design, is just a shed until it's insulated, wired, lighted, heated. A bathroom is optional, until you have one, then it's mandatory. Same with AC. A hoist is optional unless you work on your own vehicles, then it's mandatory.
I "live" in my shop in the Winter. By Spring I am suffering from Cabin Fever and want out. By Fall I am longing for Winter and the comfortable function of my Shop.
