I decided to use a penetrating sealer called Euco Diamond Hard by Euclid Chemical

Interesting because one local shop quoted $192 for a 5 gallon bucket. I know they are typically high in price so I shopped around. It was very difficult to find locally but I found it cheaper on the Internet.

Soooo, I decided to call the manufacture in Ohio and ask who retails it around my area.

She gave me 3 locations. One of which was the $192 price...
I called the other two locations which had never heard of this product. The both questioned me asking is I meant ever clear or diamond clear.

No, those products have a different base and when contact is made by diesel, kerosene, oil, WD40, carb cleaner or any other oil based product essentially, it will reactivate it and cause it to be sticky until it cures again. Well I did not want this as it will be in a location with some spills.

So, with them not knowing I contacted a cement buddy and asked where he got his supplies from. He suggested two places. One I'd already called and not the other. So, I requested this diamond hard and kick would have it, they stock it. $90 for a 5 gallon bucket. I was shocked. So when I got there, it was the same bucket and same printout ... So i snagged two and did the floor today. Pictures to follow.

I couldn't believe it was $100 cheaper per 5 gallons. Anyhow, it went on Farley easy. We shall see the end result.

This is after a few hours.

I still see some blotchy marks that still appeared wet. I "should" hose some off per the instructions as anything gelled up with turn white.

Most things appear just wet not gelled up though.

This product claims it will show no difference in appearing after it dries (or cures, settles, absorbs, penetrates or whoever it's called). It does say however if you'd like any shine to buff it after its dry. This is not my intent. I just wanted no dust and assistance against fluids.

So after the 4-6 hours it says you can have light foot traffic and after 24 hours you can have wheeled traffic. With that said, I'll just wait until tomorrow.

Good job on the sealing. If you didn't do it now it would've never gotten done.

Is that foil tape used to seal around the windows? Never seen it used for that before. What is the OSB for that's resting on the ground at the base of your walls?
