- 2015 John Deere 5115M, 1928 and 1945 hand start John Deere D's,
I just received and installed a Pyle PLCM44, 4.3" monitor. I got the smaller monitor as I do a lot of our snow clearing in the dark and wasn't sure how bright it might be in the cab. Its mostly for ensuring I don't run over any customers as our business opens in the morning and a few people always try to sneak into the lot before it is done.
I wired it in so it is always on with the key. I put it up above the mirror in the corner of the windshield, hopefully there won't be any glare so I can use it in the summer when tilling etc to make sure I'm not plugged up. I was going to mount the camera up on the under side of the cab, but with the small mounting tabs, I wasn't sure I could bend it down far enough. I ended up putting the camera under the back window. I was thinking the plus to this would be as it got dusty or dirty, I could just pop the window open reach out and clean the lense.
