I have a set of gauge wheels on my landscape rake that uses a 2" receiver for attachment. The top cylinder can exert a significant amount of force on the wheels if you're not careful and the attachment finally started to break and deform.
I flipped it over to look at the welds and fix it when I noticed that several of the welds were cracking and needed to be repaired. It's an inside corner vertical weld that is hard to reach so I had to use a die grinder to groove out the old weld.
After I get it all ground out and look at it, I think someone sure doesn't know how to weld.
...and then I remember that I fabricated the receiver attachment myself.

Added some stiffeners to transfer the load better.
