Maybe around August we can start talking about that...

Don't plan on that. NWS long range forecast is for a wet summer and fall and carrying over into 2016. The El Nino pattern has kicked in.

On the positive side, Medina Lake was up 22 feet just yesterday.

I never knew Johnny Cash appeared in Sesame Street until one day I was looking at Johnny Cash videos on youtube.

I came across this one of Johnny Cash.

I hope everyone is safe after the extreme weather we have been getting the past few days.

I'm high and dry but I'm not going anywhere soon. The road out front is flooded in both directions.

Lou watch out we are sending the leftovers South.

Great Pic! Lot of bad weather around here, but we are ok. Others not so.

My wife's cousin was quoted "Next time we pray for rain, we need to be more specific."

Parts of Austin really got drenched. My ex still lives in out old place along Shoal Creek, I haven't been able to get ahold of her but I am sure it is because she is out helping others in the community.

I am glad you are ok Kyle, I watched the news most of the day and thought about those in your area as I watched it on radar.

They had a twister supposedly in Lago Vista headed to Leander and further. Going to check the news now.

Roads around here are starting to flood over. We had 5.5 inches of rain since 7pm. More is forecast with this train of thunder bumpers. Major lightning with it. Tornado hit down in Montgomery, about 20 miles as the crow flies. Lewis Creek Reservoir's evac order was lifted around 10pm Sunday night. But I bet it might be put back in place.
hugs, Brandi

Glad to hear from you. Saw that a bunch of the bad stuff was up your way, and was concerned that we had not heard from you.

Hope all is well in your corner of the world. Stay Safe!

Thanks, we are West of Bertram and just got heavy rain. The bad weather was East and Northeast of Bertram, but there was a tornado that touched down not far from the house in Meadowlakes. We got a little over 8" of rain in the past week but other than a leak around the wood stove chimney that happens under severe rain, everything is ok here.

My gully came out of it's banks and left me with some firewood and an old tire. My driveway, which I graded yesterday afternoon as it needed it, got washed out again. All of it is up against the fence. At least I can retrieve the majority it.
hugs, Brandi

We've been getting a little over an inch of rain almost every day. This morning just a sprinkle.......3/4 an inch and water standing everywhere, and some more coming this afternoon and on through the end of the month. I've about had it with this stuff.
