Hello!New to the site. I'm looking at 2011 kubota b2920 HST with 140 hrs. Tractor has FEL, BH65 with thumb and 60" MMM. Price is $21,000. Like new condition. Would like to know if this is a fair price and if it is a good tractor. Any issues with this tractor? Going to check it out / hopefully buy next week. Thanks for the help!

Tractors do not have titles like cars.

Make sure the seller can show you a bill-of-sale. If financed, make sure loan has been paid off so seller has clear title.

It the tractor was stolen, or if a loan is not paid off, you can lose it with no recourse.

Kubota makes excellent equipment. B2920 is a popular Kubota model.

$21,000 is somewhere around $5,000 less than new cost.

2920 is a great tractor. If it was in good shape and the price was fair, I'd have no issues. 140 hours is still like new.

That is a fair to good price. And the B2920 is a great machine if properly sized for your tasks.

B series do not have position control on the 3 point, instead it uses quarter inch valving. The vast majority of people seem to prefer position control, so that's something worth mentioning if you haven't already thought of it.

Some B's have position control. Although the 23/26/2920 series does indeed have quarter inching. I have tractors that use both systems, and agree that I like position control better. But in the same breath, there is absolutely nothing wrong with quarter inching either.

Never used quarter inching valve. Is it a pain? Would it be a major factor not to get the tractor?
