On the way to the swimming hole. No fear.... She won't be outdone by the boys.

That should be done with great caution, if at all. Those loggerheads are fast as lightning. I have had one snap a broom stick. An arm bone wouldn't stand a chance if he got hold of you.

Yes, with great caution. They get this from their Great Grandmother. Wild Florida passed on through the generations.

The real test is if she can cook it after she catches it;) I heard armadillo taste just like possum on the half shell.

I usually try to leave black snakes alone, but if he is in your chicken shack AND he is at head height, all bets are off!

Found this skin in my pole barn, gathered it up (I hang em up in different spots) and went about my chores and happened to look up and got a little surprise. Guessing He was about 6ft because the skin measured a little over 5 1/2 ft. I caught him and took him down to the woods and let him go. Haven't seen him back - Yet- saw a mouse though....

My sister puts golf balls in the hen nests. It slows the white oak snakes down trying to digest one.

I have heard tale of the same thing, only the snake can't "bust" the golf ball and gets hung up going out through the chicken wire!
