Head in the sand; "In your own make belief world"
Calling you a liar; nope don't know you
Wood; do you cut your own?
Did you have to purchase a tractor,
Trailer, wood chipper, chainsaws,
Sharpening equipment, splitter,
Stove, wood boiler, have it installed, etc
Or do you buy?
Glad you love your echo boost!
I can say that I for sure save money by heating with wood, and it's far from anecdotal...I have my logs brought in, which is to the tune of ~$600 For a truckload(works up to about 20-22 face cords.) I bought a $700 Chain saw 4 years ago, and a $1500 splitter 6 years ago. They need their maintenance items, maybe to the tune of $100/year, IF I wanna get frisky and change the hydraulic fluid in the splitter. Gas and oil, bar oil maybe $75-$100/year. I only buy one truckload, and about 8 cords of that is mine, the remaining 10-12 cords are sold(currently ~$80/cord,) leaving me $800-900 to buy my next load, and pay for most of the related mainenance costs of the equipment. The only true cost to me, is an average of the equipment I have bought, a total of a couple grand over 6 years, effectively heating my house for a little sweat, and less than $400/year. Works for me, and I don't even fell my own timber.
