Yeah Kyle, they didn't even have the decency to wear a freaking mask when they billed me! :D

Wow... that is pricey. My floor in 6'' thick (50x50). I added in extra 24x24 inch footers at the doors, outside pad, compressor pad and personal door pad and it came to just over 100 yards if I remember correctly. Materials and finishing was around 15K.

That was 3 years ago now and I'm sure things are a little cheaper around here.

Congratulations. I hope to be doing something similar in a couple years. Will be doing most of the labor myself though, remote area. Pouring the floor and roof will probably be all the help I can get. There is an amish community that for some reason is always involved with roofs.

My plan is rigid insulation under the floor, then the concrete with radiant heating, then concrete block walls, externally insulated with rigid foam and metal siding. North side bermed as high as I can manage with fill/site. Single slope roof with southern overhang. Safe to work on roof due to northern berm if one stays away from southern peak.. I do not have the doors figured out yet, since it is a high wind area and one has to have a way to seal the door up tight. Glazing on southern side - passive solar. Roof most likely insulated with PU spray foam from the inside. Water collection system from roof.

It's going to be insulated (ceiling already is, we are going to do the walls ourself and save a few bucks)

I had some insulation work done a couple years ago. They could buy the same stuff and install it cheaper than I could buy it at Home Depot. Might want to get some quotes.

Already did, there's no bargains to be had around here with the amount of new construction going on.

Yeah, so far just bumping $43,000 for material and labour. The concrete was $40,500 for material and labour. I know it's high but there's a bit of a building boom going on here and if you want it you have to pay the going price.
If I'm reading this right, you only have $2500 in the walls and roof? I'm considering doing a pole barn but a gravel floor, adding concrete as finances permit. I'll bet the heating will be great, though.
