you had o put sand??my inspect said i didn't need it ??sshield phone cable ?I don't think you'll have an interference problem. I just finished a project with a 265' trench for a gate that has 2 power lines a control line, a phone line and a video cable. The only seperation is that power and control cables are in seperate PVC conduit, so probably only a few inches apart. I haven't had any issues at all... we did use shielded cable. Looking at the seperation charts I think where you get into trouble is non-shielded cable and higher power situations.
In case you're curious here's the llink to that project with the trench. I went wireless for the phone from the house to the garage, but will be trenching that once it's warm and I can see the ground again because the wireless isn't great.

around here code calls for sand if you have rocks >4", to protect the cable/conduit.

Cat5/6 is twisted, not shielded, but ya - no worries.
well 17 degree weather doesn't stop the job .dad and i ran the 2x1" today .spoke to the inspector again and he said sand isn't needed just keep big rock out of the refill ..as of now refill comes in the spring .

straight line with the hole courage or luckyx3 plus some points for having the courage to even try it without moving it. I would have mailed it for sure.
Did you dig this with the tractor going straight inline with the hole, or did you do it from the side a scoop length at a time?
