Folks, I really have an internet stalker. That being said, if anyone on this thread feels the need to know more about me, PM me, and I will share as much as I can. I feel that I *know* most of you, after the few months that I have been on this forum, and will trust that you will not share with the group, if I share with you. I am not trying to be a witch or brat, but if the stalker finds me here, I will be leaving. I am armed on my property, as well as in public, but try to make sure that I don't need to use such force.
I refuse to quit living life, because someone else doesn't know how to play by the rules. If I can't have a life, and be myself, the stalker wins anyway.
I have no doubt that the group of you could figure out who I am and what I do. It is a risk that I have taken, in every post that I have made. Information is too easy to come by, in the world of today's internet. I have discovered that in the past few years.
I truly think of y'all as friends. I also believe my path has crossed some of yours, and am sure you realize it too. I can honestly say, I care about each of you, and do not want to jeopardize the friendship, hence my offer to reply to any PMs. I just will not post much more publicly, than I already have.
Thanks so much for your understanding. Y'all are the best!

Good answer:thumbsup:
I know you are a very intelligent lady that likes to share her past experiences in a witty, interesting way.
You have also forewarned your internet stalker/s if they are still tuned in that you are not a lady to
be easily overpowered without consequence, if they become a real physical threat.
You could actually use the internet to throw them off track if you remember or jot down a plan to do so.
How much of the stuff on the internet is real, especially on these quasi-social sites.
Makes me recall a show on TV where the old lady has a man in a white jacket walk into her hospital room.
She asks, Oh, are you the doctor? He replied:" I am this week."
I think the show was called "The Pretender"
The stalker is more likely to be someone you know, or someone who is a customer, or lives within a hundred mile radius.
But.. in today's crazy world, who knows
I would caution how you use the PM.
If someone sends you a PM through the site to one of your throw-away email addresses and you simply reply from your throw away site, which likely has your name, path and other data in the property details, you have exposed far more about yourself
than you realize. Send yourself an email from the service you use to reply to the PM's. Instead of opening it, right click on it and click the Properties-Details tab.
A lot will look like gobbly gook to you unless your internet savy, but you may see details you don't want exposed.
Be careful and be happy,
Ron
