I've had to make the trek from Weatherford to Springtown 3 times in the last 3 weeks. Each time, Hwy 51 has been down to one lane, causing delays. Once again, I am making that trek tomorrow afternoon. Anyone want to place bets on how much construction I'll be dealing with?

Wouldn't that be once a week for the last three weeks?. I am just saying the math throws a lot of people off.. Now when you throw 51 in the picture and delays.. I says wait a minute,, 51 is six if add together.:D. six is the number below seven,, seven is consider the luck number by most physics.:dance1:. so if you had to travel on hwy 34, 43 52 or 61.. then you would have no delays.:cool2:. Just a physic insight from a friend that read hands.. She read my hand today and Said.. you got a hole in your hand.. you know that Lou?, I said, yes, but I didn't fall off the barn,:cloud9:, she said I feel your pain.. so I ***** slap her with my good hand.:cool2:. My hearing is bad I thought she said I need to feel your pain.. my bad.. Lou

:laughing: Thanks for my nighttime belly laugh, Lou! My math used to be great, but I guess it is lacking now. At least I have good friends to keep me straight!

(8-24) I did a naked rain dance,, well I had my coveralls on ..... Lou

Ok Lou, we finally got that shower in central Texas on (8-25) at 4 P.M. a total of .04". Please do the math (some kind of math with distance, inches and time) and figure how long you have to dance so we can get a 2" rain. Thank You.

bindian; You'll make more money if you charge them to NOT see me!

FG- Next time you do "The Rain Dance" maybe you should throw in some Native American dance steps and a few hoops & hollers. Maybe that would EXCITE the Indian Rain Gods. Maybe even a little War Paint. At this time we need everybodies help.

Charlie

I'm not so sure FG is on the good side of the rain gods. It seems every time she gives me a hard time about gettin' rain, I just get more. I just love it when she complains that I'm gettin' all the rain. When she does, I just break out my umbrella and wait for the downpour.:D I guess that is sorta like being my own little rain maker.;)

I saw some rain 2 or 3 days ago, it was on the news in Denver:laughing: Supposed to be headed to "Dome city", but looks like they are getting a good soaking down there right now!

I think someone is still doing the "heat dance", Going back to the century mark this week.

A neighbor stopped by this morning to see us. She said that she had taken a few dozen donuts by the County Precinct Barn to thank them for doing such a good job keeping our road maintained. The supervisor told her that they aren't done because they are going to pave it. WOOHOO!!! First, I get an inch of rain and now I get my road paved. I gotta go get that lotto ticket.:dance1:

You dog you, we just asked the county about paving our road and they just laughed!

Well, technically we ain't gettin' it all paved. The first 1/2 mile of our road is in Montague County, and they aren't so generous as Wise County. Even so, that part is short and a long way from my house. Kathy will love this. It will tremendously reduce her dusting and cleaning since Jay Kelley Lane won't be sending dust clouds our way. I won't have my siding and trees turning white from dust either. What will I do? Oh! What will I do?:D:D:D

Lou we got .06" this evening. That is .02" more than your successful last rain dance. Apparently you ARE going in the right direction around that fence pole, could you just go around about 400% more?
