Glad to know my wife isn't the only one who names the cows. Couple of the wierdest ones are "Bon Bon" and "Ain't got milk":laughing:

Ha. Was talking to a neighbors grandkids this evening they had named grandpa's cows. There were all giggly because they had named one cow that had some white above his nose (which looked like a mustache) - "Got Milk"

Looking forward to Monday's cool down!!!!!!!!

Well I didn't tell ya but we had one black calf with just a touch of white on her bottom jaw so she was 'Got Milk' and then the solid black came along so she was 'Ain't got milk'. Also have cow named Calamity and one named Spook.

You ought to put some goldfish in your trough. Helped quite a bit in our 100 gallon cattle water trough.

I was real inventive naming the first calf I raised. I called her Calfee.

Well, it finally got hot enough that I fixed the air conditioner on my pickup truck. The compress/evap part was working great, but my blower motor was hit-or-miss. It would work when I first started the truck and then keep running (slowly and inefficiently) until I stopped the truck and shut it off. I could drive to town with air conditioning (sorta) and when I started to come home, the blower would not work. I was sure it was overloading for some reason, maybe binding in the bearings.

It's been that way for two years. I needed to haul my trash to the county drop-off site and I knew it was gonna be a very hot ride back. So, I pulled the truck under the shade tree and took out the blower motor. What I found was that the blower motor was full of leaves. I cleaned out the leaves and held the motor while turning on the switch. It roared to life and seemed to have renewed energy. I sprayed some lube onto the bearings just for insurance and put the motor back it. Now the blower really puts out air and doesn't overload. Once more my old '96 Dodge diesel has come through for me. I drive that truck at least once a week to haul trash and it seems to just keep going despite its age and 375k miles. :cool2:
:thumbsup::thumbsup::D

I see our forecast is a 70% chance of rain, but being a pessimist this morning, I turned the sprinklers on a bit before 4 a.m.:laughing: At least I got all the mowing done yesterday.
