Well, until a bull that I have decided to play with the water lines, that is what it "appeared" to be doing, pumping water into a water garden. Same bull decided to tear the Christmas lights off of it too! Not bothering to "fix" any of it, until he goes into the freezer!

Well, if you look on the rear-end of that Bull (towards the bottom and between the legs), there should be two thingy's in a sac. Cut those off and he "might" calm down!!!:mischievous::sarcastic::rotfl:

The steer was just as big a pain, before I sold him, so don't think it would help enough. I think his problem is genetic. He carries a Y chromosome! :p

Caught Mole #5 Whoooot

Glad to hear that you are thinning out your moles, Western. I have a few I can send that way now, so that you have no shortage of them!

   / Texas Spring/Summer Thread #2,225
FG, I got rid of them for almost a week, but some are moving back in and taking over. This time I can be proactive.

And no thanks on the extras!!!

Dennis, I sure wish you'd come visit and catch a few of my moles. We met our kids and grandkids at Uncle Buck's Brewery & Steakhouse for lunch today. It was 93 degrees when we got back home and three and a half hours of mowing, edging, trimming, and bagging clippings in that heat was almost too much for this old man.

Bird, mole hunting is easier than all that work!! Did you get one of the traps? they sure work and takes very little time to mess with. If you where a little closer I'd loan you mine.

The spear type trap I had never worked, and I haven't found a trap like you have. I did look at one at Tractor Supply the other day that I thought might work, and of course it was $24.99 plus tax. I haven't bought one yet, but probably will.

That's a fine way to be. Refusing the offer of a girl's gift!

Northern tool Bird, less than $10 for the out-o-sight traps like I have. Don't know if they have them in a retail store, but I bet you could call one and check if your going close.

:laughing:You just "aint" offered the right gift!:D You could offer the windmills since it just sits acting like a pinwheel:D

Western; I wish that were the case with the windmill. I heard there used to be a functional one, in my horse pasture, but the windmill was sold before I bought here. If I could locate the site, I'd love to have this one moved to that location, and find a way to get it functional. Of course, would probably cost more than would be worth, but just think it would be neat. And then my big horse coiuld play in the water trough to his heart't content, and I wouldn't have to be out refilling the thing all the time.

Find the old hole.......move the windmill over it and have a air comprssor installed on the weather head. That way, you only have to have an airhose running down to pressurize the well. Gets rid of that connecting rod monkey motion and the pump. My uncle converted to windmills like this.
hugs, Brandi

Thanks, Brandi! Now to find that hole!

Same here .. Came in hard with a lot of wind. Spent yesterday in the wheat field ... Wet. Had to pull out of places before the combine went down .. The rake tractor ran in 4x4 and the baler tractor left its fair share of tracks ... Won't be in the field today .. I guess go to welding. What a difference from last yr.

This is gonna be tough on Monday morning rush hour in the DFW metro-mess. The freeways will be like a Keystone Cops movie. The emergency crews better put their pants on 'cause they're gonna be working hard this mornin'.

Cant I a guy sleep, some guy up on the Wise county border is making a racket!.

Yep raining here so hard it woke me up! I think all of us in N Texas will get some of this.

Hasn't started raining here yet, but the city's emergency phone system just called to say the NWS has issued a severe thunderstorm warning for our area. I sure don't need high winds and hail, but the hope for rain is the reason I went ahead and mowed in the heat yesterday afternoon.

   / Texas Spring/Summer Thread #2,239
So far, hasn't been "to much" wind here, no hail yet, but allot of rain and lightning.

Bird, looks like you should be moments away, large "red" cell headed towards FG19, I guess she will finally get some rain too!
