Duck Decoys.
My favorite one was made from one solid piece of wood. It was made in the 1840's and used to hunt ducks on the Chesapeake Bay, It is totally hand carved with even details carved for wings and other body parts. It has a few scratches from being used, but the Patina is absolutely Beautiful. Some of those are pure works of art.
Those are awesome. I love the fabric cords.

I am so sorry. I don't have the means to post pictures. I have never posted any pictures on TBN. I have wanted to, many, many times. Most of the cords are reproduction replacement as the original cloth just didnt stand up to the test of time but I did have a couple fans that even retain their original cloth cords.
Would love to see a few pictures.
I've also got a small fan collection. All but one works. My favorite is a Vornado from the late 40's or early 50's with the original price tag attached. Also have some nice duck decoys, John Deere stuff and so on.
But my most unusual collection is my 700+ pairs of cuff links, along with tie tacks and tie bars.
Yikes! Well, someday, they will make a comeback and you will be prepared.
