Great to hear you guys got something, checking the radar for my home, it says 80% tonight:thumbsup: Looking at the radar though, it looks like it went through (South) while I was sleeping.

Yeah, it had said 80% here this afternoon and tonight, but they've started backpedaling now; down to 50% tonight, 40% tomorrow, then 20% each day and night for the next couple of days.

I had to update. I phone the wife and according to her, we got "1 line over 1-1/2"" ( I know:laughing:) Usually I'm the guy that needs rain in the hay field, but this year I guess I'm in the right spot. Just wish I could capitalize on the blessing.

We had an inch this afternoon and then the system just stopped north of us. I might be able to cut weeds tomorrow without being in a dust storm. Still 80 but it feels good.

We got 7/8 of a inch yesterday evening. Rained real hard at times and there was quite a bit of wind. I think we have a few limbs down but nothing major. Fixin' to head out for a walk-around the place and see what the damage is.

Send any leftover rain down to me. Been pouring all around us, yet we only got a 10th of an inch yesterday. Just a little drizzle today.
On a better note, I have a covey of dove coming to the new pond and resting on the island. About 12-15 doves right at sundown. Really a nice sight to see. Thank God for critters to watch (and eat if needed).

.......................and catfish and squirrels. If I tied Booger up..........the deer will come up close. They sneak in at night and eat the corn I throw out. Been looking every day for tracks around the new pond, as it is close to their cover and easy to drink from.

I've eaten crow a few times, but it never had anything to do with the economy.;)
