For a canopy, go back to your dealer. They will get you set up with one that has all the right mounting hardware for your tractor. Don't go cheap though, get the one with the sound deadening foam head liner. It gets noisy without it.

Going to check ! Thanks ! for the heads up about the insulation.

I dunno about that rig. The rims have 2 different yellow paint mixes.
I'd check with the dealer and make sure it's genuine.

Nice looking outfit (other than the rims). Will be a pity to scratch it. Enjoy!

WOW, nice looking unit. I just took delivery of a ever so slightly used 790 a couple of weeks age. The 790 is the older brother of the 3005. Its just the right size tractor to do most things around our homestead.

Good luck with your new GREEN TOY

Looks like it is just the effects of the flash on the camera. Maybe not. Nice looking tractor though. My question is why is the seat black?

Because all 770's, 790's and 3005's have black seats. Same w/ 990. 4005's.

Yeah, I'm sure that's all it is. The far side rim is the darker yellow. But when a guy gets something that shiny, you just have to pull his chain a little. :D

looks great did you get a cap and a pair of gloves to?( I like it). MY gramps was all john deere and my dad was IH gramps used to say he would hide in the grass till the other tractors came up then he woud jump at them and scare them away.

Thanks everyone ! I used it for the first time today and i am very impressed how well it does for a small tractor, spreaded about 15 yards of gravel in a couple hours, and had a blast. Yep on the hat ! Also got one for my wife and she was amazed they had em in pink ! But have to wait til march for my implements. mower, tiller, posthole digger !

My first is a Kubota and a shifter. Same story about driving shift tractors as a kid. Was not too sure about the HST. My gear 'bota will push into material better than the same size HST or at least better than my neighbors Deere HST.

I recently acquired a 32hp with HST. I'm loving it because I do a lot of back and forth moving material around. They both have their advantages. Kept my shifter and am leaving the mid mount mower attached.

I am a fan of my 3 point land plane for keeping drives and parking lots smooth and level. It doesn't move as much material as a box blade but leaves a much smoother finish job.

On the overhead go with one that has the insulation. I appreciate that on these hot Texas days.

I also accessorized the new tractor with a hydraulic top link. I can now adjust the top link on the fly. Makes attaching the top link to implements much easier. You may want to consider some type of quick hitch as well.

Enjoy.

? What's a land plane, I have 600' of gravel driveway so it's really what I need also. Thank you for your input !
