Your towing rigs and trailers

Nice. I got my 16' PJ Utility about a year and a half ago. I love it. Almost pulled the trigger on a number of other trailers before I found the one I bought. When I think about that, I feel like I really dodged a bullet. My PJ trailer has some trailer well thought-out features.

ETA: Obligatory pics:

I certainly love mine! The load is so much better balanced than my old trailer. Truck used to sag 2" or so with the trailer unloaded because it was so tongue heavy. I hardly notice sag even with a Chevy Venture or Ford Ranger on the trailer, let alone my little tractor! I no longer feel the need to get airbags installed, or require the adjustable hitch that stuck out so far it triggered my proximity sensors. The swivel jack means there's nothing hanging low in the front to drag as well. Heck, just being able to see the fenders during the day and their lights at night to know where the trailer sits is great! The brakes are a nice addition too. Makes me happy I planned ahead 3 years ago and got the max tow package (11 or 12,000 lbs) even though I really only needed about 4-5,000 for tractor or wood pellets.

If anyone else has pictures from summer, post up
How about some new baled hay and green grass from 2015:

Thanks, it was my wife's 2011, 1 ton horse trailer puller:

She liked the color well enough that when we downsized the trailer, she traded it in on a 2016 3/4 ton, the same color:

Can you take a picture of how you hooked up the equalizer hitch to the trailer. Most 14k trailers have too big of frames to mount a typical equalizer hitch chain grab. This may be the first one I've seen with that hitch set up. I like it.

I will, but just know I had to do some modifying to make it work.

I do not understand your question.

The Equal-i-zer hitch does not use chains.

I use an Equal-i-zer hitch on my 14K Quality Steel & Aluminum equipment trailer, and it fits/works just fine.

I do not understand how post #3157 relates to my post #3169.

Okay maybe it is me that is not understanding but here is what I understand, in post 3160 Snobdds asked me to take a picture of my weight distribution hitch (equalizer hitch). the picture in post 3157 shows my truck and trailer connected with my WDH that uses chains. in post 3166 I posted the pictures I think he was asking for. and then your post 3169. If I am missing something please explain.

I see chains on the equalizer:

Equalizer is a brand of hitch that doesn't use chains, the one pictured is a blue ox hitch. Same idea but the names used are causing confusion

That's a good looking rig, I just put running boards on mine friday makes getting in the truck much easier. Does that spare tire ever drag the road looks kinda close to me.

Never did but I relocated anyway as one of my winter projects. Welded a HF spare tire mount to one of the railing locations which gave me additional height and better access to one of my preferred chain binder locations.

That is a generic ...weight distribution hitch.....not an Equal-i-zer hitch

Semantics...but it appears everyone but you knew what i was talking about.

My equalizer hitch uses chains...FWIW
