I do not understand how post #3157 relates to my post #3169.

Okay maybe it is me that is not understanding but here is what I understand, in post 3160 Snobdds asked me to take a picture of my weight distribution hitch (equalizer hitch). the picture in post 3157 shows my truck and trailer connected with my WDH that uses chains. in post 3166 I posted the pictures I think he was asking for. and then your post 3169. If I am missing something please explain.

I see chains on the equalizer:

Equalizer is a brand of hitch that doesn't use chains, the one pictured is a blue ox hitch. Same idea but the names used are causing confusion

That's a good looking rig, I just put running boards on mine friday makes getting in the truck much easier. Does that spare tire ever drag the road looks kinda close to me.

Never did but I relocated anyway as one of my winter projects. Welded a HF spare tire mount to one of the railing locations which gave me additional height and better access to one of my preferred chain binder locations.

That is a generic ...weight distribution hitch.....not an Equal-i-zer hitch

Semantics...but it appears everyone but you knew what i was talking about.

My equalizer hitch uses chains...FWIW
