I'm the guy that did a big stock up on toilet paper, coincidentally just as Covid started, just ran out last year. Bought 50lbs of oatmeal a month later, ran out last year. If it don't go bad and I can get it on sale I stock up. Stocked up on wives 41 years ago. Seem like she will last another 30 years.
And she also goes through two Areds 2 a day.

The bugs in old oatmeal take some of the nutrition from the oatmeal but the protein from the bugs makes it up.

When will that happen! Every day my wife & I are working and it seems more work than ever after retirement!!!
This place is constant work, then 98 yo Mom's place is more work and usually step one is finding then repairing the tools or finding what's needed to fix what's broken.
My garage first aid kit I have to keep getting larger boxes and probably the few that contains an eye patch. The house medicine cabinet puts CVS to shame and if salve doesn't work it's on to linament and finally ointment. At least the 3"×4" bandages work...for now!
