Yanmar in Ontario

Hi, I've been lurking around, researching this brand (and others) for a few days now. I found a couple of clean, well priced units in NJ, and PA. Unfortunately I can't find a local dealer/retailer in Ontario and am a little hesitant on purchasing a machine without (somewhat local) support Deos anyone know if there is an outlet in Ontario or Quebec?

thanks for the reply I found a YM265D in NJ and YM2020D in PA. The guy in PA doesn't have a clue what he's selling though (the machine came in on tradein).
Let me know if you have any machines available.

I looked at kennystractor.com and it seems to be just a referral site that probably earns a penny every time someone clicks one of the links.

I clicked on 'Used Tractors' and a couple more clicks searched 'Used Tractors' on ebay. The first hit was 'Cars Tractor Tipping Game Pixar Disney - gently used.'

I found this locally, but look at that loader is this standard equipment
The machine itself has ID label AF-30s?? tried doing a search on the model and came up with nothing

Looks like a fairly new tractor. Haven't seen a loader designed like that. As far out in front it is to the bucket, I'd be very concerned about weight transfer on to the front axle and tires. From looking at the pic I'd guess for every pound in the bucket the front axle/tires will see 3#. Wouldn't be too surprised if the front end isn't overloaded with nothing in the bucket. That is a LOT of weight hanging far out in front. You could also find manervering with the bucket out so far could become a real issue.

Have done the math on my setup and my rig sees 2# on the front axle for every # in the bucket and it doesn't stick out as far as the one in the pic looks.

Do your homework.

Japanese loader. Now you know why we don't go out of our way to bring in tractors with loaders on them from Japan. Add to that the fact that most of the loader units over there have been worked till the wheels fall off.

It looks almost exactly like my loader. I'd say it's a Kanzaki, and yes, definitely Japanese.

Last i checked there are no legitimate Yanmar dealers in canada period. ther4e is a Yanmar marine dealer in B.C. who will help where he can, but has to order out of Chicago. Don't know what you are looking for but i have an older 195D in good condition. Have been very happy with it, but no longer need. health forces me to eliminate some toys. have 51" blower with it.
I find It easy enough to work on and the guys in the states are helpfull with parts so owning one isn't a disaster.

HI I JUST SAW YOUR POST,I HOPE YOU DIDN'T BUY FROM KENNY'S TRACTOR IN NJ . I BOUGHT A FX265D GOOD TRACTOR BUT NO SERVICE AFTER THE SALE.HE WOULD NOT HELP ME FIND WHERE TO GET PARTS TO FIX THE SMALL PROBLEMS I HAD, HE WOULD NOT EVEN TELL ME WHAT BRAND THE FEL WAS I HAD A BAD LIFT CYLENDER AND IT TOOK ME FOR EVER TO FIND THE RIGHT ONE TO FIX IT ,ANYWAY I HOPE THIS INFO ISN'T TO LATE GOOD LUCK BRUCE
