OK, so I'm doing my research for my next machine. I'm trying to decide which backhoe I should get with a B3030.
Has anyone put a Woods BH80X backhoe on a B3030 yet? The Kubota BH75 specs out right between the Woods BH70X and BH80X. Two things I really like about the Woods hoes are the curved boom and the thumb option. I was really leaning toward the Woods BH80X, but the dealer mentioned that he thought that hoe might be a bit much for the 3030. As much as I'd like the thumb, if it were to come down to the BH70X vs the BH75, I'd have a tougher time deciding, because the BH75 is a bit bigger and more powerful.
The dealer also recommended the aux. hyd. pump kit if I went with one of the Woods hoes. - Would the pump kit really make that big of a difference in performance over tapping into the tractor hydraulics? I think, although he quoted an $1150 charge for adding rear remotes, it makes sense to have the remotes for other potential future needs. Even if I were to have the rear remotes installed, would it benefit me at all to go ahead and get the Woods pump kit for performance reasons?
