Figure if got rich like Jay I would be more interested in applying massage oil to the pretty ladies than working about greasing a machine ;-)

Perfect song for the job.

Hmmm... I wouldn't exactly call greasing relaxing, but I never had much trouble loading cartridges in my grease guns. You are not doing something right if you are having that much trouble. Yes, it is true that the grease guns seem like they are always empty when I need to grease the tractor, and yes they will always run out half way through. :) Of course not every time, but it does seem that way sometimes.

It was definitely me.
It was just one of those days. One was empty. Went to change it and the catch holding the plunger spring back slammed forward before it was threaded on so sending stuff everywhere. Then the 2nd didn’t want to let the plunger in the metal ring in and then wouldn’t bleed out and pick up so I ended up taking the head off it to get rid of the air pocket.

And when you’re through greasing, cleaned up, and go to put the manual gun away you notice the pump handle has sneakily worked it’s way open. That’s when the brain fart happens and you push it closed and launch a squirt across the shop.

Did it today. Again.

We call‘em hissy-fits. Almost pitched one today trying to get barbed wire out of my flail mower. Waiting now on Amazon to bring me some better wire/bolt cutters.
Been there, done that with barbed, high tensile, mesh and 5/8s wire rope. The wire rope turned out to be part of a 100' coil the previous owner had tossed on the ground and let self bury. I had to use an angle grinder to cut that out. I ended up pulling 15 or 20 coils of various sizes and lengths off the property, fortunately only was found by my flail.

What’s the big deal? I use 15-20 tubes per month and maybe twice a year have an issue. Don’t use cheap grease guns and you’ll never have a problem
