Does your tool chest interefere with being able to see behind the tractor? It's hard to tell how much higher than the seat the box is.

On my TC35D.. I use the cup holder/cooler as a tool box.

HD Wire Cutter
Chisal
Shear Bolts (square bailer)
Shear Bolts (PHD)
Small Wrench(Bleeding Fuel Line)

I also have on the tractor in various locations..
Tree limb loppers
Hand Saw
Mallot (helps w/ the 3pt hookup)
8' section log chain
40' section log chain
Hay fork
Used Feed Bags (For Picking Up Trash)

It all gets used for various jobs.. putting in posts, fixing fences, bailing, feeding the steers, cleaning manure,
logging. I go through it once in a while and clean out
anything I don't use on a regular basis.

No, not really. The toolbox is maybe 2" higher than the top of the seat, and the top of the seat hits me in the shoulder blades, so my eye level is well above the top of the tool box. It does obstruct my view of the PTO coupling and the attachement point of the top link, which are essentially below the toolbox. But there is no problem seeing the lower links, the implement, or the work area.

My ideal toolbox would have been a bit lower and wider, but I couldn't find a heavy duty box that would fit. The placement of the Aux light is actually a bit of a problem, if I tried to move it to the outside of the ROPS it would have required moving the other tail lights. I could have mounted it onto a flange or some kind of a bracket above the "flasher" light on the ROPS, but I wasn't really up for that much extra work, and placing the Aux light on the outside of the ROPS would have exposed it to tree branches (I have a lot of those) that could have ripped it off. So I really needed a tool box that would "fit" in between the left ROPS upright and the AUX light on the right side, AND still be big enough to hold the branch loppers, small axe, etc.

I looked for a picture of the cupholder/cooler.. it is on all the TC35-45 "D" models.. anyone have a picture?

Where and how do you mount all these things? Pictures would be nice too! I've serously considered putting a "gun rack" on the ROPS to hold long handled shovels, rakes, etc. I've carried one of those little folding tree saws in the tool box, but they are so small I think they are more of a pain to use . . . I'd love to carry a larger saw but can't figure out how to carry one of those . . . what about your chain, did you make chain buckets and attach them to the FEL mount? DETAILS man, we need details (and pictures!!!!)

Good looks, keen intelligence, and brute force /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif All that and I went to my friend's garage and shoved it into a big machine that he has, stepped on a peddle and "poof" just like magic the 90 degree bend was pressed into place. Do that a couple times and it magically looks just like the bracket in my picture. But I did cut it all by myself with no borrowed tools! And I drilled it all by myself too.

I don't have a picture.. but I'll explain best I can.

Tree Limb Loppers.. bungied to rops(right hand side)
Hand Saw.. slid down into the extra control slot next to the pto engage lever(left hand side)
Chains.. folded across the raised middle section of the floor/deck in front of the seat.
Mallot.. also on the floor/deck.. held in place w/ the chains
Hay fork.. handle sets in the right side space besides the seat.. the forks are positioned up by the rops w/ the bungie that holds the loppers.
Feed Bags.. tucked behind the seat.

I'll try to get some pictures.. my setup is pretty crude.. but I've found a spot for these things.. that doesn't get in the way of operating the tractor.. doesn't bounce off the tractor when working.. and doesn't get snagged w/ the limbs that smack me in the face.
