Probably does but I am guessing probably not as nice as a ZTR would, but what the heck!

I totally agree with Roy on this. I'll match the quality of the cut on my Woods PRD7200 against any mower. I have a ten acre yard with about 200 trees in it. For sure a ZTR is much faster. But my B7800 Hydro with the Woods 72" RFM is a serious mowing setup and not just a poor second choice. In fifteen minutes I can drop the mower and mount either a post hole digger, loader, brush hog, disc, or a harrow. A ZTR just can't do all that.

I didn't mean to imply that a RFM won't do a very nice job, or that it is a "poor second choice"... on the contrary it is a most versatile option, especially when you also have the need for all the additional capabilities of a tractor. However I will still stand by my opinion that a ZTR will provide a better cut... cut lines can be maintained much straighter, and clippings will disperse better leaving less clumping. In wide open acreage mowing these issues might not be that important to many, and in that case the RFM is fine... to each his own. There is no way an RFM can provide the quality of cut shown in the pictures below... I have a 7 acre property that gets mowed the same way... just don't have a picture of it.

I dunno...they use a ZTR at the company I work at and it doesn't look any better then my lawn (which sure ain't gonna make "House Beautiful" or "Home and Garden" magazines). A ZTR won't leave tire marks in the grass like a tractor, but those are gone in 2 or 3 days.
So, stand by your opinion...it's cool. I just don't agree with you (as if that amounts to more then a hill of beans).
