And definitely if you mow it "lawn style", have it rolled with a ride-on roller, fill in the low spots, cut down the high spots, etc. and smooth it out. Your back and your equipment will thank you.

A 72" ZTR is a really efficient mower... you're not going to come close to its speed with a 72" mower on a tractor, not a 80", and maybe barely a 90".

I have a 35 HP zero turn 72" and it will out mow my tractor with an 84" mower by a significant amount.
I mow a 7 or 8 acre lawn. Takes me just over 3 hours to mow it with the tractor/84" finish mower.
I can mow the same lawn with the 72" zero turn in 2 hours.
