The tittel of this tread with..."is"...and..."apostrophe s"...just tain't knot write...!
I had never noticed that before, and I'm kind of a punctuation nit picker.

Pet Peeve - Movies where they remove the interior rear view mirror for chase scenes. I know they don't want you to see the camera in the back seat, but there are creative ways to do it while leaving it in place.
My understanding of the classic chase scene in “Bullitt” (Steve McQueen) was that if the rear view mirror was flipped down a stunt man was driving, flipped up and it was the actors themselves driving. Good back stories to that scene.

5-7 minute how to you tube videos where you have to watch a 3 minute introduction...
With maybe 2 minutes of actual content, and the part you really wanted to see got glossed over.
Sub-pet peeve: Packaging, mostly on products that hang from rods on displays, that are damn near impossible to get open without a big pair of scissors, a butcher knife, explosives, or a combination of those items.
Yeah, then you break the actual product getting it out because the packaging is stronger.

Yet all that you need is the last 40 seconds to show what you need.

That was pointed out to the OP early in the thread, and mentioned a few times since.

There was a video posted a few years ago showing how to open them with a hand crank can opener.

Those tag pins stores use are a beech! You put on a new shirt, remove 12 but find 3 more that scratch your neck!
Anything electrical has lots of twisties you have to untwist. Sometimes whatever I need unwrapped in a hurry I usually cut my hands because the plastic stretches 5X before it finally snaps!
Years ago we saw a documentary about that, the Crickenberger scale, named after the packaging engineer/designer. 0 to 10 scale, 10 most difficult because he discovered kids especially the more difficult it is to unpack something the more it's perceived value is.
A toy truck for example you grab & buy isn't worth as much as one in a box, blister-packed and you have to put the wheels on.
