have any of you tried to obtain the site administrator info for weldingweb.com? someone had to have purchased the software for vbulletin and made all the changes to the site. I just went to the vbulletin site and requested support info for weldingweb will see if anyone answers me.

xenforo seems to be the best forum software going these days.

I would hate to see the price tag on what it would cost to transfer TBN over to it.

i noticed a couple other forums i go to have recently gotten a new facelift, cant say any of them are particularly warm/fuzzy experiences. I like other forum interfaces better than TBN but to each his own. My favorite is Red Power Magazine its ran by Invision Community - Forum software, CMS, eCommerce & more - Invision Community UI.

A company called CloudFlare seems to be the one that owns the SSL cert and IP address used by weldingweb.com. They are based in San Francisco. They may just be the hosting provider, but it could be a place to start.

Seems WW is owned by Informa, a pretty big media company. I've been in touch with them but haven't yet found the person who makes decisions about WW.

I don't think they do anymore..... I the webmaster email the other day regarding not being able to create an account. The attached picture was the response.
