If you're anything like me (I wouldn't recommend that :rolleyes:) every project you do will cause you to think of at least two others, and just AFTER you paint the current project you WILL think of at least two modifications for that project :confused: ... Steve

Dave - naw, it's 'cause all the water where you live is probably too frozen to cause rust, so paint's not necessary :D ...Steve

If you build one of these first you will be better off than building one after having cut everything by hand for 25 years.

If you don't already have one, I would say a welder cart is the best first welding project.

... and shieldarc, I'm not sure a bridge crane is the thing to weld if you are looking for practice. :laughing:
