Want Polls?

Got in on this a little late BUT

Bird is my kinda man - (see his post of 11-02) Say what you think & Put your name to it. Let the polls begin. There should be some filtering of the unavoidable "obscene" from Muhammad.

I stumbled across this thread...last post dated 11/22/00.

Wonder what became of the idea?

My own thoughts...I read this list for the discussion! How many people "think" something tells me next to nothing. "Why they think it" is what I want to know.

Think of a religion, for example, with which you disagree stongly. Millions of others may believe in it with great fervor. Does the number of believers sway you?... or do you just think that it is the number of those who are mistaken?

A million "flat-earthers" can be as wrong as 1, and one Galileo is worth any number of doctrine-bound fanatics.


There is no "reason" for "just numbers", IMHO /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif.

VERY neat! How'd you do that!

Only problem would be, that the polls would be scattered all over the place. Maybe you could make a section just for polls, so people could at least read them all in one place?
