Would make a heck of a chain down point welded or bolted to the weight bracket or frame on the front of some tractors. Even on the rear too.

Don't buy the horror fright QH in first place and you don't have problem of unusable items laying around....

That looks like a PITA too....4 pins to pull and line up when changing the hook position. Also 4 clips to drop on the ground and have to find in the weeds.

I modified my HF QH so I could use these receiver hitch style pins but they'd work on other QH's as well. No clips to lose.

A hardware store magnet dropped onto the hitch solves that problem. too.

Buy some material and lengthen the hooks the same as your aftermarket ones. Weld -grind-paint. List them for sale.

Ha! Big Barn, if I had your talents and amazing shop, I might do this. But then I'd have to compete with Quality Farm Supply, who sell them for $16.95 when they can keep 'em in stock!

Dale, I hear ya, but at $75 or $80 each with a coupon, the HF QHs are hard to beat! My oldest is probably 16 or 17 years old, and still going strong. I use it on my NX4510HST/cab with a 750 lb Woods 7' box blade. :) I can swap out the top hooks on these things for $17, so still less than $100 all in.

LOL. Only $16.95!!! I wouldn’t be modifying them either.

Not willing to have cat food for a regular diet quite yet...

If you have a press, they might come in handy at times.
