Use for silt fence

From the construction of my home (some rainy day I'll start a thread from the pictures of the construction, I didn't have an interenet connection while we were building to show/ask questions during the construction), I have approximately 100' of 3' wide silt fence. Can this be used for anything? Could I use it for weed barrier in a flower bed or will it not let the water thru? Otherwise I was thinking of laying it under some pallets that I store the box blade and other equipment on to keep the weeds from growing up around the stuff, should save on a little weed eating time.

its designed to let water through, just not the silt/dirt.

Be good to put between rows in a veggie garden.
