ty290x motor HELP!

NO OIL PRESSURE TO VALVE TRAIN! Installed mechanical gauge, showing 35-45 psi cold. Realised when setting valve lash (started out to replace a blown head gasket/rework injectors) NO oil on valve train while running. head gasket matched EXACTLY, can actually run a piece of wire down thru oil passage in head into block. Anyone have any ideas w/out complete teardown.

Has too be a blockage somewhere. I would have guessed the gasket but you said that is not it so a tear down is going to have to take place.

If you loosen the bolt that the oil is supposed to flow thru on the rocker shaft from the top of the head,do you get oil? I had heard that some of the rocker arm supports were not drilled thru for oil.

Well you could remove the fitting where the oil pressure sender is located down on the block, and try and blow compressed air back from the head oil passage and see if anything blows back out that side oil port...

Thanks for the input. Had already been through most of the suggestions already. Went to full teardown on front of motor. Timing idler shaft worn almost 3/16 of an inch on bottom side. Assuming no pressure past this point, as all pressure would be lost due to incredible amount of slop inside idler gear. Will let you know when I get the new parts in and running again. Will try and post pictures soon. Gotta see it to believe it. It was bad enough it was about to jump timing. Only about .030" contact on crankshaft gear. PS, this isn't my tractor, I'm repairing it for a friend. Started out as simple head gasket job because it was pushing water out of the radiator. Looks like it had some rough service/ lack of maint. issues before he got it.
