Total Newbie

Hello,

I just joined the forum, been lurking for a while.

Ended up buying a 4.1 acre property, about half wooded, half lawn. Seems like there is a lot of young saplings and a few mature trees to be removed, and a pond to be maintained.

I'm looking at buying a SCUT or a CUT, for some reasonable price. I have never owned a tractor before.

Thinking about some kind of Kubota/Mahindra/Kioti type thing. Maybe Kubota B2620? or Mahindra Max 25 with mower, loader and maybe backhoe (for pond maintenance, digging chores).

May have to build a fence, and wife wants garden types stuff.

Any advice would be appreciated.

If you're looking for used...just keep shopping, you'll find what you're looking for...
If you are not 100% ready to pull the trigger...window shop to get a feel for the local market etc...

leave your name/number with any local dealers (that know what you're interested in) for trade ins...the only issue with dealer trade ins is there are usually not any attachments that come with...

You might also post about your age. I find that now that im in my low 60s I value and can afford more labor saving devices. That was not the case 30 years ago.
