Monday I ordered a toothbar from Markham Welding. They were very nice over the phone and would be able to ship my toothbar out the same day! That was 2 weeks shorter leadtime than the last one that I had bought from Woods.
I got a call from a lady in customer service today from Markham Welding. The trucking company that was delivering my shipment routed my order to the wrong terminal so it would delay delivery by 1 day. Not a real show stopper for me but they said that they would mail me a $60 check to cover my shipping cost and apologized.
What a great customer oriented company! I would highly recommend them if you are looking for skid steer attachments or toothbars. /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

GeneD14,

Glad to hear that you threw your business to these guys. I also bought my toothbar from these folks and the whole process was nothing but POSITIVE! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I've written about my experience with my dealer and his 'ghost toothbar' before, so I wont go over it again, but it sounds like a similar story to yours.

In short, it's always a pleasure spending my money with a company that makes a ROCK SOLID product, AND understands the meaning of customer service.

Post some pics of your tractors new grin, and enjoy the toothbar!! I'm sure you'll be as happy with yours as I am with mine! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Mine should arrive tomorrow,60" $260 delivered /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif
my dealer wanted $300+ for a bolt through the lip toothbar but I didn't want the headache of 3 or 4 bolts to deal with or having to worry about mangalled bolts to undo when I wanted it off for what ever reason.. Markham 2 bolts ,a little anti-sieze on the threads and off in a couple minutes. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

54" cost me $200 with six theeth. If I would have settled for five, it would have been $180. Since I'm close to those folks, it only cost me $35 to ship and it was dropped off at my office the day after I ordered it!

If you're thinking about it, get one! One of the best 'bang of your buck' attachments you can buy!
