Yes, box end wrenches (open and closed) are great. I would also suggest a 3/4" set of sockets eventually.

Stop by harbour freight. Yes, they are cheap tools but they are cheap. You will not use them that often and if you break one you will not cry. I have yet to break any of the wrenches or sockets I got from there but have stripped out a ratcheting socket wrench and the charger for the impact tool died.

I would also STRONGLY recommend a T-Bar style torque wrench when you get one. The spring loaded ones have a tendency to go out of spec especially if not used, weather changes, dropped, etc. The T-Bars seem to stay in spec much better and they are much cheaper! For the amount of use you will need them for, the T-Bar is a much better buy and more reliable.

You need to determine whether you need "inch" or metric sized tools.
