Looks good. Nice job.
Thank you
Looks good. Nice job.
Hate it when that happens! I got a deer antler stuck in my rear tire once, punched a hole in the tire and tore up the fender as well.I hook my rake and shovel in my bh bucket when I’m doing work - well it got me today - I decided to turn the compost before starting a bed cleanup and heard something but kept going, then I see the small rake handle on the ground with no rake - so I’m looking all over for the rake and it’s embedded in my rear tire.
Two plugs later all good - holding steady after 12 hours

I find deer sheds (along with assorted deer bones) in the pasture every year. I usually spot them when I'm out there doing something else and pick them up. Have run over them several times when mowing and they make quite a racket going through the cutter, but only punctured a tires once (so far) in 19 years here.I bet that has not happened to to many people - pure bad luck.

Also unlucky right front between tire and rim.Hate it when that happens! I got a deer antler stuck in my rear tire once, punched a hole in the tire and tore up the fender as well.![]()
Here is the offending antler and the bent fender. Damage wasn't that bad, curled the lip under and scratched up the paint, but of course, I couldn't live with that on my Baby. Also unlucky right front between tire and rim.![]()
I could easily move that... after bucking it up into 16 inch chunks. They would be pretty useless on the sawmill.I sorted/moved some logs today, this one was 13' by 35",

and it was about all my loader wanted!

It's going to be 10" x 10" beams; I should be able to get several out of that big one and a few more out of the other logs I staged today.
