Hello all, I am curious as to the practical downsides to installing a 27 to 30 inch tall tire on a 2 wheel tractor that stock is offered with 22" height. I understand less torque, greater speed, as well as implement angles are more severe, and possible leverage issues on factory gear housings but beyond that I am curious what others have experienced. I see a lot of older machines with larger tires able to clear raised beds and taller crops, and that is something I am investigating and might want to experiment with. Intercontinental tire company make some ag tread 27 and 30" tall tires for 12" rims that look very appealing at about 125$ ea, and I dont think rims would be an issue with these. What are your thoughts?
