Throttle Stuck! Help!

My Yanmar Ke-3 three cylinder throttle has stuck. The hand lever slips because the resistance is so great. I can't even move the lever on the injector by hand after taking the cable off. It is stuck at 2000 rpm so I can run the tractor, but it is a pain! How hard is it to take the injector cover off and see what is going on in there? Are parts going to spring out at me or something? Does anyone have a drawing of this area they can send me?

Hi,
I see a lot of people looked at my original note, but no one has responded. Does somebody have a service manual for the Ke-3 that I could buy or at least get a scan of the page dealing with the injector/throttle?

I really would like to see a drawing before I start taking things apart!

Mark, it appears that you must have an unusual problem. It's not often a question is here a month without someone knowing how to fix it. I guess a lot of folks are like me; just don't know about this one.

I'm afraid that I don't even know what a Ke-3 is.

It's one of those models there were about 4 of that were imported. Ok, maybe more, but it's certainly not mainstream. I've never seen anything but pictures.

The KE didn't it come after the F and the FX didn't know any one had any of them .I would think the injector pump is about the same.

Well, I have one, I believe it is a 1998 or so model year. See the pics attached:

It is in super shape, it just has a stuck throttle linkage where it goes into the injector area. It also would help if I had hands the size of a five year old!!!!

Gosh !! That's a new tractor . Take it back for warranty Deere dealer mabe Does the injector pump bolt on just like some of the older yanmars ?

I have a KE-3 parts manual if that helps. I'd be glad to email you some pictures of the governor/throttle if that helps.
