Three point valve broken!!!

I keep thinking that it has to be the feedback linkage that is causing the problem. Your handle does not work like it should. I can take a picture of my YM2001 linkage this afternoon but it might not be exactly the same.

I don't understand the problem but it seems to me if both the new loader valve and the new 3-point control are blowing out seals then there's an overpressure problem somewhere. Maybe a sump return that is sealed in some control positions, when it shouldn't be?

The 3 pt seal moving is probably just a bad tolerance when it was machined. He said the seal is loose in it, and as the button is presses just the friction pushes the seal out.

I believe poor machine work, after all my muting bolt pattern on my first one didn't match up with the holes and I could only put 3 out of 4 bolts in the valve due to misalignment.

California, are you at the farm to take a pic of your tractor or do you have one on your PC?

Carey do you have your linkage pictures or can you take a pic to post here?

Sorry, wife says we are stuck in town until after Halloween. Actually its kinda fun. Along with candy I hand out apples, including undersize ones to the little kids. Sometimes after a bite they say they've never had an apple with good flavor before. I look for a nod from parents for the little kids, so far all approve.

We get neighbor kids, carloads of kids and teens from poorer neighborhoods, then waves of kids trick or treating after the nearby Junior High Halloween party lets out. It seems like a good idea to be home when all this cheerful chaos is going on.

I expect to get back over to the ranch (orchard) by the weekend. It's 100 miles each way so I can't just pop over there for a photo, sorry.

Here's an old thread where I and others posted photos of the YM2000 3-point lever. It might be helpful.

I looked at mine and it is totally different. It is all on the side and not on the top.

Had time to fiddle with it a bit tonight. I致e determined that I need to have an adapter and gauge put together so I can monitor pressure from the pump. I believe that is the next step.
I bypassed the loader controls completely and ran a jumper hose in its place so it is again routed as stock.
I tested with my original valve, and the Hoye valve (making sure the seal stayed pushed in).

I have determined that due to the internal throw of the spool inside the 3point valve that the position of the handle doesn稚 matter I don稚 think.

I also want to add that mine has been re-welded where the vertical push bar is that attaches to the handle shaft and pushes on the spool pin. But after watching its movement, and looking at the throw of the spool, along with adjusting the travel linkages, I don稚 think that is my problem either.

While I obviously DO have some hydraulic pressure, if I open the speed lever more than 1/4 turn with the Hoye valve, the 3 point will not pick up with the box blade attached at even 1500rpm.
It may move a little but it just seems to bypass pressure at that point.

When the 3point and box blade is up, no matter where I adjust the linkage, again, there is always pressure being bypassed in either control valve, you can (in person) always hear that “loaded” sound. There are different frequencies of this sound, but it never goes away, until the 3pt begins to drop.

I will get a gauge configured and hooked up, and that should tell us if I have correct pressure out of the pump.

One of the things I am wondering is, if it is possible that there is not enough hydraulic pressure produced to push back on the spool pin against the control lever creating this 渡eutral position, and that the weight of the 3 point along with the external spring tension is overpowering the spool valve in the 3pt control valve?

Ours are on the side.

California, one of those links was pretty insightful, thank you!

It helped to clue me in as to why when the 3pt is up, I am getting that fluid feedback back through the loader valve control spool.
Which indicates to the problem I am having which is not being able to find the “neutral” for the 3pt.

What if, I have it adjusted and get it into the neutral spot, but the 3pt doesn’t hold up? What would that mean?

I still think that it is the interaction between 27, 34, 47 and 40 in this picture. It is really hard to tell in your video. It is almost as if 40 and 47 are not pinned together.

THREE_POINT_CONTROL: Yanmar Tractor Parts

Those two linkages should counteract the movement of 34 to find the neutral point of the valve.
