YM4220 suddenly started making a random clunking noise from the right rear. You can actually feel it and it sounds like dense metal clunking together. It is a little perplexing since it is not occurring in a regular pattern, it's more like clunk...... Clunk..................clunk...clunk.

Any similar experiences or thoughts? I'm thinking axle bearings but...???

Thanks in advance for the brain power.

Check your lug nuts. And any bolts between wheel center and rim, if yours aren't welded together. If welded, there may be a broken weld.

And welcome to TBN.

Thanks Bruce, that did it. it was the outer bolts that were the culprit. Not much just a 1/4 turn but it was enough.
